Spring Parent Engagement Seminar
The Dunham counseling staff will host the spring Parent Engagement Program (PEP) Seminar on Wednesday, March 19, at 6:30 pm, in the Brown-Holt Chapel Arts Center. Discussion topics will include technology, cell phones, social media, and the impact on our children’s mental health.
Launched in the fall of 2025, PEP serves as a resource for Dunham families and includes a monthly e-newsletter, a counseling blog, and parent seminars on topics relating to students’ social and emotional well-being.
Social-emotional learning is a part of every student's experience through a counseling curriculum that focuses on building strong friendships, conflict resolution, and effective communication. In addition, the school’s three full-time counselors are available to meet with students, parents, and teachers to provide individual counseling, guidance, and outside referrals as needed.
The Dunham counseling program aims to reflect Christ in all interactions and provide students and their families with the best guidance and resources possible for relational, spiritual, and mental health.
